Privacy Policy
What this site collects, why, and the control you have over it.
This is a plain-English summary of how shenshin.co handles your data. The short version: I collect as little as possible, I never sell it, and you can have it deleted at any time.
What I collect
- Usage analytics. Aggregate, non-identifying data such as pages viewed, rough region, and device type, so I can see which articles help and improve them.
- Your email. Only if you join the waitlist or email me. It is used to reply to you and, if you opted in, to share news about the course.
- Purchase details. If you buy a paid product, my payment provider Paddle collects what is needed to process the order: your name, email, billing country, and tax location. Card details are entered with Paddle and are never seen or stored by me.
Who processes data for me
I keep the stack small and use trusted providers as data processors:
- Cloudflare hosts and serves the site (security and delivery).
- Google Analytics provides the aggregate usage stats.
- Paddle is my payment provider and Merchant of Record for direct purchases. Paddle handles billing, tax, and fraud checks under its own privacy policy.
- An email provider stores the waitlist and sends any updates you asked for.
How I use it
To run and improve the site, to reply to you, to deliver and support anything you purchase, and to send course updates if you opted in. That is all. I do not build advertising profiles on you.
What I never do
- Sell, rent, or trade your data.
- Track you across other websites.
- Email you things you did not sign up for.
Cookies and analytics
Analytics may set a basic, privacy-respecting cookie. Paddle may set cookies needed for secure checkout and fraud prevention. You can block cookies in your browser and the site still works.
How long I keep it
Email and waitlist data are kept until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete them. Order records are kept by Paddle and by me for as long as the law requires (for tax and accounting).
Where your data is handled
The site and its providers may process data in the United States and other countries. I only use providers that commit to appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA), you can ask to access, correct, export, or delete your data, and you can object to certain uses. I do not sell personal information. Unsubscribe from any email in one click, or email hello@shenshin.co and I will take care of the rest.
Children
This site is for adults and is not directed at children under 16. I do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, I will update the date below. Significant changes will be made clear on this page.
